Hot and honky, the latest from this nine-piece shows off immaculate arrangements and complex interplay as they range in tempo and intensity from police car chase to sunny afternoon by the pool. Especially recommended if you like a flute wandering in.

Different from other UMO offerings, this is an instrumental effort. It features some of that signature swirling sound, but also incorporates droning and Afrobeat elements. Hypnotic and easy to get lost in, which is inevitable and recommended.

Angry punk disco sure is exciting, and this incongruously-named band is a master of the craft, with sizzling disco grooves and a pumping bass anchoring guitar shards and a vocal delivery that can border on the distraught. Put it on and cut a rug.

Electropunk seems to be a fitting soundtrack as the timeline veers towards A Clockwork Orange. As the riot rages on, the line between repetition and riff is trodden on until it's no longer visible, and the crowd surge begins to resemble a dance.

It's somehow light and airy, yet moody and brooding, and though it should be easy to find the half-whispered croon of the vocals creepy, it's just the sound of someone taking you in confidence as they lead you into the deep, dark forest.
